Bowen Barge

Barge Bowen is a heavy-duty deck barge with a cargo capacity of 5,000 tons and 1,300 m² of clear deck space, purpose-built for bulk cargo transport, infrastructure logistics, and marine construction support. With high hopper sidewalls for enhanced cargo security and a robust stern hydraulic ramp for efficient roll-on/roll-off operations, Bowen is an ideal platform for transporting aggregates, machinery, and oversized structures in demanding marine environments.

A well-known vessel throughout the Pacific region, Bowen has been deployed on major airport and infrastructure projects in Tuvalu, Solomon Islands, and Fiji. It has served in the transport of aggregates, construction materials, and plant equipment across the island nations, often working in
tandem with tugboats Warringa and Wistari. 

Registered under the Vanuatu flag, Bowen is perfectly suited for Heavy Cargo & Bulk Material Transport – Aggregates, heavy machinery, pre-cast structures, and construction supplies.
