Mala Base Rehabilitation and Upgrade for Defence Australia

The shoreside team of Ocean Logistics Limited engaged in a pivotal marine civil construction endeavor for Defence Australia.

Substantial headway has been achieved in the Mala Base rehabilitation and upgrade initiative, notably encompassing repairs to impaired precast panels and enhancement of the base’s electrical infrastructure.

Noteworthy inclusions within the new electrical upgrades encompass the incorporation of COPE points on the wharf to facilitate provision of shore power for RVS Sokomanu and RVS Takuare. Furthermore, the base and wharf are undergoing the installation of new, larger electrical cables.
